K + J opted for their elopement photos to be captured on film. Analog film is magical, nostalgic, and intentional, just like an elopement tends to be! All images that follow are captured exclusively on 35mm film.

We began by taking some wedding portraits around the grounds. The conservatory was closed to the public just prior to ceremony set up. Their intimate ceremony was held on the lawn outside the Anna Scrips Whitcomb Conservatory. Surrounded by their immediate family, they exchanged their vows. After sealing it with a kiss, and signing their marriage license, they were officially married!

The ceremony was followed by heartfelt hugs, tears, and laughter. The family came together to have their formal portraits done. K + J then ended the evening with several more portraits in the Conservatory itself. They then headed off to join their family for dinner, ending a simple, but beautiful evening.

If you are planning your very own Belle Isle elopement, I’d be honored to be a part of your journey! You can find me at thegardenphotocollective.co
